X. Urban Typhoon Workshop Koliwada-Dharavi

These pages present the material produced during the Urban Typhoon Workshop, which toke place in Koliwada-Dharavi on March 16-22, 2008.

About 70 participants from India and the rest of the world joined local residents to produce a multimedia testimony to the unique character of Koliwada-Dharavi, and brainstrom about possible futures for the community.

All the material produced during the workshop is open source. Anyone can use it for research and design. Please comment and contribute.

this workshop will have a long-lasting and deep impact. it was just awesome. Loads of work. Being part of a live project, we are contributing towards it. it was just a great feeling. This should go forward.
i heard a development commitee has been formed. I guess we should also follow their work. I am in touch with Mr. Kamu Iyer, one of the team leaders.... will definately be connected closely with futhur action / inaction . edited 3 months ago
