'Bad' spaces / 'Good' spaces for women in Koliwada

Holi Maidan

Large open space used as a cricket ground, overlooked by some residences. Narrow entrance to space is marked with a bar and hotel serving alcohol on either side. Area predominantly used by men. When asked, some commented that they would not be happy with their wives or daughters coming to this space alone for recreational purposes.
